Add 30 minutes if you want the moment the patch usually goes live rather than the start of the party. The party itself is the safer thing to attend: it starts on time more often than the patch does.
What actually happens in an update party
An update party is a modified normal match, not a separate mode. The Wiki lists:
- 30-minute countdown before the party starts, then a 30-minute match.
- Free items at the start and during the match: party hats, confetti cannons, balloons, banners, a disco ball, Wildfire potions, Ruby Chests, Alien items and admin items.
- Diamond rain. Developers spawn Diamonds at the campfire; the party always gives at least 20 Gems.
- No normal progression. Day rewards, Cultist Stronghold Diamonds and badges are disabled during the party, so the only Diamonds are the ones the developers spawn.
- 5- and 10-player parties are available, which makes it a good time to play with a full group.
The party is sometimes called "Admin Abuse" because the developers spawn admin weapons and items. That is the point of the event — it is a thank-you session, not a competitive run.
How to join
- Open the Roblox experience page for 99 Nights in the Forest.
- Join a server in the 30-minute window before 1 PM ET on Saturday. Party servers can queue; arrive early.
- Look for the update party lobby/banner. If you are in a normal server, rejoin — the party is a separate match.
- Stay near the campfire for the Diamond rain, and do not expect badges or day rewards to count.
If the party does not appear, check the official Discord/X for a delay notice. Roblox outages have delayed parties before, and the patch can slip without the party being cancelled.
